Two people were fatally shot last Thursday at an apartment complex on Greenburg Road in Tigard, Oregon. Officers were called out shortly before noon on reports of a shooting at The Birches apartments near the intersection of Southwest Greenburg Road and 95th Avenue.
Just before 12 p.m., officers responded to the report of the shooting at 11485 Southwest Greenburg Road. Police said two people, a man and a woman, were found dead at the scene. The victim’s names have not been released.
No arrests have been made at this time. Authorities immediately conducted an area search for any suspects but did not find anything. Officers began securing the area while looking for the suspect. People who live near the shooting scene were being asked to stay inside their homes until the search was complete.
Just before 1p.m., police said a K9 search had been completed and residents were no longer asked to stay inside. The suspect still was not located. The Washington County Major Crimes Team is on scene for the investigation.
