Semen In Red Robin Salad In Portland

By Portland Medium Staff

Red Robin restaurant has some explaining to do after staff concealed semen in salad after Portland customer alleged racial discrimination, lawsuit claims. The store located in Clackamas served the salad dressing to a man who angrily stated his frustration that employees racially discriminated against his family.

The lawsuit stated that T.C. consumed “a decent amount” of the garden salad before realizing human semen had been concealed inside the leafy greens. The suit is seeking $1 million in damages. Red Robin may have to pay for the sexual abuse, negligence and racial discrimination. The Black man is suing in the  Multnomah County Circuit Court.

He attorney said that his client believes that it was done on purpose and that he was a target. Such an incident is traumatic to say the least. Some states consider this a criminal battery.

The victim started vomiting after the discovery and was later diagnosed by the hospital having anxiety and nausea later that night.

After discovering the semen in the salad, T.C. took photos. Laboratory testing later confirmed the substance was human genetic material.

The lawsuit filing stated the man visited the Red Robin, 12560 S.E. 93rd Ave., for a family dinner on March 24, 2021, when servers asked to break up their large group of mostly Black men, women and children. The man voiced that white groups if similar size were not treated the same.

The restaurant manager Jason Fosberg then referred to the Black group as a “big gang.” The restaurant first refused to give names of the male workers but later gave up the information. DNA testing maybe used to find the culprit.
