Isaiah Hurst Reward

Isaiah “Zigg” Dewayne Hurst, 39, passed away on the morning of January 2, 2022. Isaiah was fatally shot and killed on his way home from his routine breakfast pickup from McDonald’s to take his medication for his recently diagnosed Interstitial lung disease. The family is still trying to adjust to the shock of their loved one’s death, the family’s grief has been confusing and difficult to bear.

A reward is now being offered for information on Isaiah Hurst. Gunfire was first reported on Northeast Morgan Street, near North Vancouver Avenue around 9 a.m. Sunday morning, police said. Officers arrived at the scene and found a man, 35-year-old Isaiah Hurst dead.

According to police, the Oregon State Medical Examiner’s Office determined his manner and cause of death to be homicide by gunshot wound. Hurst is Portland’s third homicide of 2022. Crime Stoppers of Oregon is offering a cash reward of up to $2,500 cash for information that leads to an arrest in any unsolved felony crime and tipsters can remain anonymous.

Isaiah Dewayne Hurst, the first born and only son born to Letha Buchanan and Andre Hurst on February 6, 1982, at Legacy Emanuel Hospital, in Portland, Oregon. Isaiah attended and graduated from Grant High School in 2000. After graduation he worked various jobs. He was a hard worker, willing to work any job to support self and family. He loved this city, the Trail Blazers, and his new joy Golf. Hitting balls off the deck at Glendoveer and Colwood, he said it was peaceful, relaxing.
