Greater Seattle Youth Football And Cheer CHAMPIONSHIP!

14U Championship
C2C Rams defeated the Infamour Allstars  30-6.  With both teams coming in expexcting to win, it was a very competitive contest as each team fought for inches. But, the Rams executed their playbook with more percision than their rivals giving them the W in this 2018 championship game. Valiant were the Allstarts in the effort only to come up short this year.  There effor is to be applauded. Great job to both teams for a successful season and a competitive Championship game.

12U Championship
The Renton  Rangers (12U) posted a 19-0 victory over the Team Inland NW Bears. Highly ranked Team Inland NW came into enemy territory to fight for the Greater Seattle Championship. Nationally ranked they came in with the mindset of bringing home a championship trophy and they possessed the talent to do so. But, with home field advantage, the crowd of family and friends, the Renton Rangers defense and offense used that energy and dominated the field. The Rangers defense stayed in the Bears backfield as the Bears running game rarely made to the line of scrimmage. The offense ran their playbook almost to perfection as several players ran up and down the field contributing to the running game. All in all it was a battle and Inland NW  played with heart and competitveness, great job Bears.

10U Championships

Renton Rangers 10U posted a  26-20 win over the Team Inland NW Bears, as the teams gave their family, friends and fans an exiting game to watch. The Inland Bears came firing on all cylinders running up the score in the first half 20 to 7 but halftime. Running their game plan the road trip from east of the mountains at the moment seem to be worth it as the offense and defense were gelling on the field. The second half was the tale of two cities. The Rangers, I wonder what their coach said to them at halftime, but the Rangers were a totally different team. They began utilizing their speed on defense putting a halt to the Bears attack. The Rangers running game found its groove and began racking up yardage and touchdowns as they brought the score even at 20. The defense was not to be denied they wanted to get some to as they scored on a fumble recovery as well as stifled the offense of the Bears during the second half.  It was competitive throughout, but the Rangers wanted it more showing in their effort with a great second half comeback   close a 20 to 7 deficit into a victory. The Bears loaded with talent are to be applauded for a valiant effort in this years championship game. We will see them again at this level of play.

The Renton Rangers 8U are the 2018 champions as they beat the C2C Rams 18-6. The Rangers defense was all over the Ram in this battle. Although the Rams competitive nature kept them in the game during the first half, the Rangers stepped it up in the second half running up the score. Overall both teams came to win but there can only be one winner and in 2018 the Renton Rangers dominated to become the champs. C2C a team full of talent made the contest exiting as they battled their hearts out. You can bet this group of Rams are going to be successful at every level. Let’s hope they stay together as a team and we will see them next year vying for the same spot.
