Still Questions In Deaths Of Six Women

Some news outlets are stating that several of the six women found dead in Portland are some way connected. It is being reported that three of the six women found dead near Oregon’s largest city visited the same places before their deaths. However, it has not been confirmed that the women share the same killer. Police have said so far that there is no serial killer on the loose.

Over a period of three months, six women have been found dead in rural areas within 100 miles of Portland. Five of the victims were found in Oregon and one in Washington, and one victim remains unidentified. The first victim, 22-year-old Kristen Smith, was found in February.

Looking for a commonality has become an obsession for some media. One local media stated that victims, Joanna Speaks, 32, Charity Lynn Perry, 24, and Bridget Leann Ramsey Webster, 31, had been known to visit areas near the Clackamas Town Center and one near Southeast 82nd Ave. One source said Perry, Webster and Speaks had similarities in their personal lives,

Last week, The Portland Medium reported on this story. The women that were killed were found within 100 miles of each other. Their bodies were found in various places. These places include on the sides of roads, in the woods, as well as in secluded rural areas. The body of a Native American woman who was found near Interstate 205 and Southeast Flavel Street in Portland. Krisin Smith’s body was found less than three miles away near Southeast Deardorff Road and Flavel Street in Portland.

One death seems to have more information attached to it. Investigators released a cause of death for Speaks whose death has been ruled a homicide. The coroner’s report states that her body showed signs of blunt force trauma. Victim Ashley Real’s death has been ruled suspicious. In the case of the unidentified victim, police have said they do not suspect foul play. Perry and Webster’s deaths have been ruled suspicious, but not labeled a homicide.
