
In an eerie development, serial killer Homer Lee Jackson III, has been found dead by his sister. The grim discovery has made the news through both the local community and law enforcement agencies. Police say Jackson was found dead by his sister on at his home on North Emerald Avenue. Police noted that he had recently been ill and weighed between 75 to 80 pounds. There are no reports of foul play.
Homer Lee Jackson III, a name that will forever be associated with terror, was allegedly responsible for a series of heinous crimes that plagued the Portland area in the 80s and 90s. – Last January, Jackson pleaded guilty to killing four young women – Latanga Watts and Lawauna Triplet – in the 80s and 90s. Also Tonya Harry and Angela Anderson.
– Latanga Watts, 27, was killed by manual strangulation, was found dead on March 18, 1987 in an empty lot at North Concord Avenue and North Going Court near the pedestrian overpass.
– Lawauna Triplet, 29, was found dead on June 15, 1993 near the intersection of North Going and North Concord near the pedestrian overpass.
– Tonya Harry, 19, died from traumatic asphyxia found dead, on July 9, 1983 in the slough that bordered West Delta Park between the Portland International Raceway and the Heron Lakes Golf Club.
– Angela Anderson, 14, died of ligature asphyxiation, found dead on Sept. 22, 1983 in the 400 block of Northeast Going Street.
Preliminary reports suggest that the circumstances of his death are not suspicious, with no questions being raised about whether foul play was involved. The exact cause of death remains undisclosed as authorities conduct a thorough investigation. All women were victim’s of sex trafficking, according to the Portland Police Bureau.
