Election Day is Tuesday, November 4, 2025, and Multnomah County Elections is urging voters to make a plan to ensure their ballots are submitted on time and counted.

Voters have two options for returning their ballots:

• Drop off your ballot at any Official Ballot Drop Site or elections office in Oregon by 8 p.m. on Election Day.

• Return your ballot by mail. No postage is required. Under Oregon law, any ballot postmarked on or before Election Day and received within seven days will be counted.

Multnomah County Elections recommends mailing ballots by Thursday, October 30, to ensure a timely postmark. Voters mailing ballots close to Election Day are encouraged to visit a local U.S. Postal Service office and request a manual postmark. Be sure to check postal hours and plan ahead.

To find an Official Ballot Drop Site, visit multco.us/dropsites. The site includes locations in Clackamas and Washington counties as well as an interactive map. Drop site information is also available in the Multnomah County Voters’ Pamphlet.

This Special Election includes two ballot measures — one for the City of Portland and one for the Lake Oswego School District. Approximately 466,000 voters in those areas are expected to participate.

Need a Replacement Ballot?

Voters who did not receive a ballot by Thursday, October 23, or who need a replacement, should contact Multnomah County Elections immediately at 503-988-VOTE (8683).

Voters can also use the online Order Ahead Replacement Ballot Service. Through this service, voters can request to have a ballot mailed to them or ready for in-person pickup at one of the county’s two voter service locations:

  • Voting Center Express (600 NE 8th St., Gresham)
  • Duniway-Lovejoy Elections Building (1040 SE Morrison St., Portland)

Extended Hours for Voter Services

Both voter service locations will offer extended hours to accommodate voters:

  • Saturday, Nov. 1: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Monday, Nov. 3: 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
  • Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 4: 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Track Your Ballot in Multiple Languages

Voters can still sign up for Multnomah County’s popular Track Your Ballot service at multnomah.ballottrax.net.

This free service sends text, email, or voice alerts in English, Spanish, Russian, Somali, Ukrainian, Vietnamese, or Chinese. Voters will be notified when their ballot is mailed, received, and accepted for counting. The system will also alert voters if any further action is required. Accepted ballots will receive a digital “I Voted” sticker that can be shared online.
