NAACP Accepting Scholarship Applications

The NAACP Scholarship Program is now accepting applications for the 2023 academic year. This scholarship is designed to help Black students in Multnomah, Clackamas, and Washington counties pursue their post-secondary goals by providing twelve $2,500 awards.

To be eligible for this scholarship, applicants must be a current college student, graduating high school senior, or a person who has completed their GED. They must also be applying for funds to attend undergraduate college, university, or trade school of any kind. Applicants must identify as Black and/or African American and reside in Multnomah, Clackamas, or Washington County.

The deadline to apply for the NAACP scholarship is May 20, 2023, at midnight. All applicants must complete the application with transparency and integrity. The NAACP Scholarship Committee will review all applications, and applicants will be notified of their status by June 14, 2023.
