The Propel Center, the global HBCU technology and learning hub intended to level the playing field and open greater doors of opportunity for their students, has announced the naming of respected social entrepreneur and education advocate Gene Wade as chief executive officer.

CES, one of the world's biggest tech trade shows, kicks off Wednesday in Las Vegas with its first in-person event since the start of the pandemic. While the conference may look a little different in 2022, it's still showcasing the familiar mix of innovative and wacky products that make an appearance year after year.

The company will stop running support for its classic devices running BlackBerry 10, 7.1 OS and earlier. This means all of its older devices not running on Android software will no longer be able to use data, send text messages, access the internet or make calls, even to 911.

For hours, players were unable to log into the popular battle royale. The company was "investigating log-in, matchmaking, and other issues," on Wednesday afternoon, according to Fortnite's official status Twitter account.

Supply shortages are everywhere. New smartphones have been hit by shipping delays and video game consoles are almost impossible to find.
