The victim, identified as 51-year-old O’Marr Burnett, sustained severe injuries and was immediately rushed to a local hospital for urgent medical attention.
Sadly, on Friday, June 14, 2024, Burnett succumbed to his injuries and tragically lost his life. The Medical Examiner’s report confirmed that his death was a result of homicidal violence. This death was recently reported by PPB.
As the investigation into this devastating incident unfolds, the Portland Police Bureau’s Homicide Unit has taken charge of the case. Their team is gathering evidence, interview witnesses, and piece together the events leading to Burnett’s assault and subsequent death.
