Old ‘What is Juneteenth?’ YouTube Video Up 11 Years

One of the oldest videos on YouTube to educate about Juneteenth is still on the platform. It helped to provide important information about the national holiday that commemorates the ending of slavery in the United States. 

The video can still accessible but may being coming down after 11 Years due to the success of the day becoming a national holiday and a host of other videos that now educate about Juneteenth.

Juneteeth, also known as Freedom Day or Emancipation Day, is the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States. The observance of June 19th as the African American Emancipation Day originated in 1865 in Galveston, Texas. Today, Juneteenth commemorates freedom and emphasizes education and achievement.
