Clark County is accepting applications to fill four vacancies on a seven-member Parks Advisory Board for terms that begin Jan. 1, 2022.

The Clark County Councilors is seeking applicants to fill one of three Clark County-recommended positions on the seven-member Fort Vancouver Regional Library District board of trustees.

The board of the Clark County Public Facilities District will hold a public meeting 4-5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 8, 2021.

The mayor, who is also the police commissioner, said the Portland Police Bureau needs about 300 more police officers to meet the city’s policing needs.

The Clark County Law Library will increase in-person service hours beginning Monday, May 2nd.

OLYMPIA -- Washington State Department of Health (DOH) is working with local and federal public health partners to investigate a case of Salmonella that is likely linked to consuming contaminated Jif® brand peanut butter products. The Whitman County resident, who was not hospitalized, has a confirmed case of Salmonella associated with a nationwide peanut butter outbreak involving 11 other states.

Multnomah County offices, libraries, and most in-person services will be closed Thursday, Jan. 18, 2024, as travel conditions have not improved as expected, and because of the potential for another stretch of inclement weather starting tomorrow afternoon.
