Permit Center Extends Business Hours

The Permit Center on the first floor of the Clark County Public Service Center had adjusted its business hours to better meet the needs of customers seeking building and other permits. An extra day has been added for walk-in customers.

The center is now open from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. It had previously been open on Wednesdays only for customers with appointments.

“By changing the hours, we are able to serve customers better and at a more even pace throughout the week,” said Marty Snell, director of Community Development.

People who need permits can also take advantage of the enhanced Clark County Land Management System (www.clark.wa.gov/community-development) that allows customers to apply for building permits online.
