Applicants Sought For Three Vacancies On Historic Preservation Commission

The Clark County councilors are seeking applicants for three vacant seats on the Clark County Historic Preservation Commission. Terms are for three years and begin in July. Service is voluntary. The commission typically meets at 6 p.m. the first Tuesday of each month at the O.O. Howard House, 750 Anderson St.Applicants must have demonstrated interest, experience or knowledge of history, historic preservation, architecture or related disciplines such as planning, cultural anthropology, archaeology, cultural geography, American studies or historic rehabilitation or restoration.
