League of Women Voters of Oregon Celebrates Anniversary of 19th Amendment

The League of Women Voters of Oregon is celebrating the anniversary of the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. With the passing of the 19th Amendment, 51% of the adult citizens in the United States won the right to vote on August 26, 1920.

The League of Women Voters invites Oregonians to join them at the State Capitol in celebrating equality, civil justice, and the right to vote.
